Microsoft announced the completion of the TV version of Windows 7 development

April 28, according to foreign media reports, local time Tuesday, Microsoft announced that it has completed custom Windows 7, so that it can run on televisions, set-top boxes and other equipment on the task.

Microsoft, called Windows Embedded Standard 7 of the new software , will allow Windows Media Center "landing" of new equipment. Microsoft's local time Tuesday in the "Silicon Valley Embedded Systems Conference" (ESC Silicon Valley) to display the Windows Embedded Standard 7.

Microsoft Windows Embedded Kevin Dallas, general manager (Kevin Dallas) said, "Windows Embedded Standard 7 release, Windows 7 technology will be used in embedded consumer and business devices."

Microsoft said last week, PC version of Windows 7's global market share of more than 10%.
